Led by co-founder of the Newburgh LGBTQIA+ Center and seasoned cultural competency trainer, Maria Ramirez. Born and raised in Newburgh, NY - Maria has been a socially active community member since 2012.

In this workshop we’ll dive into basic principles, concepts and terminology regarding the LGBTQIA+ communities. This session will afford folks the opportunity to have their questions and comments addressed and learn tips on how to expand their knowledge and awareness.

Led by Meowie Wowie and Ame who produce Beacon Burlesque, this workshop is here to teach us that Burlesque can be more expansive than props and costume reveals, and that sensual movement doesn't need to be practiced on a stage.

In this workshop, you will be guided through different improv and movement exercises designed to come home to your body.

Meow has been teaching sensual movement and Burlesque technique across the country for over 10 years. Ame has been guiding improvisational movement & free play for 10 years to students of all ages.

Trans Closet of the Hudson Valley will lead a workshop on Binding, Packing, and Gaffing 101 for all members of the trans spectrum to ask questions and learn how to wear, use and shop for gender-affirming accessories.

They can take measurements for chest binders and offer instructions for wearing different types of garments. They will also be offering gaffs, binders, packers, and clothing for free to all members of the trans, nonbinary, gender expansive and questioning community.

LAc, MAOM owner of Valley Spirit Acupuncture is Licensed Acupuncturist and practices Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is certified Instructor of the martial arts style, Shen Long Xingyiquan with The National Tang Shou Tao Association and is a Disciple of it’s founder Vince Black. Emily is a certified practitioner of Jin Shou Tuina and is on the NATSTA Chinese Medicine Committee.

is a resident bodyworker of Jin Shou Tui Na and Craniosacral Therapy and an assistant instructor of Shen Long Xingyiquan at Valley Spirit. Felicia has studied ShaoLin Kung Fu with Master Alan Lee and began her training in Qi Gong with Daria Fain.

completed her apprenticeship of Jin Shou Tui Na and Craniosacral Therapy with Valley Spirit in 2019 and is a assistant instructor of Shen Long Xingyiquan. Charlotte is nearly finished with her program to become a licensed massage therapist through the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy. Charlotte teaches movement and games at the Primrose Hill School in Rhinebeck.

LMT, LAc, MSTOM, also warmly referred to as Kyng began their career as a Licensed Massage therapist in 2009 graduating from The Swedish Institute. A decade later they Graduated from Pacific College with a Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Kyng completed their apprenticeship in Jin Shou Tuina with Emily Morrison and is a practitioner and assistant instructor of Shen Long Xingyiquan at Valley Spirit Accupuncture and Internal Arts.
